Deep Cleaning

What is Deep Cleaning?
Deep cleaning is a thorough, intensive cleaning service that goes well beyond the scope of a standard recurring clean. It targets accumulated dirt, grease, bacteria, and buildup in hard-to-reach and often-neglected areas of the home or facility, restoring them to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
What is the goal of Deep Cleaning?
The goal is to reset a space's cleanliness to its baseline condition — removing layers of buildup, eliminating hidden germs and allergens, and ensuring every surface, fixture, and corner is thoroughly treated rather than just surface-wiped.
How does it differ from standard cleaning?
Unlike routine maintenance cleaning, deep cleaning includes scrubbing grout lines, degreasing appliances inside and out, descaling fixtures, cleaning behind and underneath furniture, and addressing areas that are typically skipped during regular visits.
What should you do before the cleaning technician arrives?
To allow technicians full access to all areas, please declutter countertops and floors, move small furniture if possible, secure pets, and inform the team of any under furniture, and address any specific concerns, sensitivities to cleaning products, or areas requiring special attention in advance.
What are the typical tasks by area?
Kitchen: Degrease and clean the inside and outside of the oven, stovetop, range hood, and microwave; wipe down cabinet fronts and interiors; scrub the sink and faucet; clean behind appliances; sanitize countertops; sweep and mop floors.
Bathrooms: Scrub and disinfect toilets, tubs, showers, and sinks; remove soap scum and hard water deposits; clean grout lines; wipe mirrors, fixtures, and cabinet interiors; sanitize all high-touch surfaces and mop floors.
Living areas, bedrooms, and hallways: Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, vents, and baseboards; wipe window sills and blinds; clean interior windows; vacuum under and behind furniture; spot-clean walls and switches; vacuum carpets and mop hard floors.
Additional areas: Laundry rooms, entryways, and utility areas may include wiping appliances, scrubbing utility sinks, cleaning door frames and switch plates, and dusting shelves — depending on the agreed scope.
Is there a Quality Control inspection?
Before completion, the technician performs a final walkthrough to verify that all areas have been addressed, confirm that no surfaces have been missed, and ensure the property meets the high standard expected of a deep-clean service.
What is typically not included?
Standard deep cleaning typically does not include exterior window cleaning, heavy furniture moving, carpet shampooing, biohazard cleanup, mold remediation, or organizing and decluttering services unless specifically requested as an add-on service.
