What is Airbnb Cleaning? 
Airbnb cleaning is a turnover service performed between guest stays to reset the property to a hotel-quality standard. It combines thorough cleaning with restocking and staging, so the space is fresh, welcoming, and guest-ready before the next check-in. 

What is the goal of Airbnb Cleaning?
The goal is to deliver a consistent five-star experience for every guest — ensuring the property looks, smells, and feels immaculate from the moment they walk in, while protecting the host's ratings and reputation. 

How it differs from standard cleaning? 
Airbnb cleaning operates on tight turnaround windows between check-out and check-in. It includes laundering linens, restocking supplies, inspecting for damage, and staging the space — not just cleaning surfaces. 

What should you do before the cleaning technician arrives?To ensure a smooth turnover, please provide check-out and check-in times in advance, confirm access instructions (lockbox code, key location), let us know where clean linens and supplies are stored, and flag any known issues or special guest requests before the appointment. 

What are the typical tasks by area?
Bedrooms
Strip and remake all beds with fresh linens; fluff and arrange pillows and decorative items; dust surfaces; wipe nightstands and lamps; vacuum floors; and stage the room to its standard presentation.
Bathrooms
Disinfect toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, counters, and mirrors; remove used toiletries; restock soap, shampoo, and paper products; replace towels with fresh ones; clean floors; and empty trash.
Kitchen
Wipe counters, appliance exteriors, stovetop, and sink; check and clean the inside of the microwave; load or run the dishwasher if needed; restock kitchen essentials per the host’s checklist; and sweep and mop floors.
Living Areas and Common Spaces
Dust and wipe all surfaces; fluff cushions and arrange décor; spot-clean upholstery if needed; clean glass doors and windows; vacuum carpets or mop hard floors; remove any items left behind by guests.
Entryway and Outdoor Areas
Sweep entryways and wipe down the front door; tidy outdoor seating or patio areas; remove trash; and ensure the arrival experience matches the listing’s presentation. 

What about linens and supplies?
The technician will launder used linens on-site or swap them with a fresh set provided by the host, make all beds to a hotel standard, and restock guest amenities according to the host’s inventory checklist. Hosts are responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of stock. 

Is there a Quality Control inspection?
Before leaving, the technician performs a final walkthrough to confirm every room is guest-ready, linens are properly made, supplies are stocked, and nothing from the previous stay has been left behind. Any damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns are reported to the host promptly. 

What is typically not included?
Standard Airbnb cleaning typically does not include:
•      Deep cleaning of appliance interiors (e.g., oven, refrigerator)
•      Exterior window cleaning
•      Carpet shampooing or floor waxing
•      Removal of large quantities of trash or guest-left belongings
•      Laundry service beyond standard linen swap or on-site wash
•      Biohazard or damage restoration cleanup. These services may be available upon special request as an add-on.
