What is Hourly Cleaning? 
Hourly cleaning is a flexible service billed by the hour, where a cleaning technician focuses on the areas and tasks that matter most to you. Rather than following a fixed checklist, the service is guided by your priorities and the time available.
 
What is the goal of Hourly Cleaning?
The goal is to give you maximum control over how you spend your cleaning time — whether that means tackling a specific problem area, maintaining a few key rooms, or getting as much done as possible within a set number of hours. 

How it differs from standard cleaning?
Unlike flat-rate services with a defined scope, hourly cleaning adapts to your needs in real time. The technician works through your priorities in order, and the total work completed depends on the number of hours booked and the condition of the space. 

What should you do before the cleaning technician arrives?
To make the most of your time, please have a list of priority areas or tasks ready when the technician arrives. Clear clutter from surfaces you want cleaned, secure pets, and let the technician know upfront if any areas should be skipped or given extra attention. 

How does the service work?
At the start of the appointment, the technician will review your priorities and begin working through them in the order you specify. If time allows, they will move on to additional areas. You can direct the technician at any point during the service to adjust focus as needed. 

What are the typical tasks that can be included?
Kitchen
Wipe counters, appliance exteriors, stovetop, and sink; clean cabinet fronts; sweep and mop floors; empty trash; and spot-clean backsplashes and surfaces.
Bathrooms
Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, and counters; wipe fixtures and tile; clean floors; and empty trash.
Bedrooms and Living Areas
Dust surfaces and furniture; vacuum carpets or mop hard floors; wipe down touchpoints and light switches; tidy visible clutter; and clean windowsills and baseboards as time allows.
Additional Tasks:
Other tasks, such as interior window cleaning, inside appliances, laundry folding, or organization, may be included based on your priorities and remaining time. 

How many hours do I need?
The number of hours depends on the size of your space, its current condition, and the scope of the requested tasks. As a general guide:
•     1–2 hours: Light maintenance for a small space or a few targeted areas
•     3–4 hours: A thorough clean of a medium-sized home or apartment
•      5+ hours: Larger homes, heavily soiled spaces, or a more comprehensive top-to-bottom clean. If you are unsure, we are happy to recommend a starting point based on your space and goals. 

Note: Due to logistical requirements, there is a 3-hour minimum. 

Is there a Quality Control inspection on hourly cleaning?
Yes, at the end of the appointment, the technician will conduct a quick review of the completed areas to confirm that the work meets expectations. If time remains and additional tasks are needed, adjustments can be made before the session concludes. 

What is typically not included?
Hourly cleaning does not guarantee completion of all areas — work is limited to the time booked.
The following are not included unless specifically discussed:
•      Heavy lifting or moving of furniture
•      Exterior window cleaning
•      Carpet shampooing or floor waxing
•      Clutter removal or haul-away
•      Biohazard or hazardous material cleanup. These services may be available upon special request as an add-on.
